The trade off is the heavier moving mass on the X axis, which can show up as ringing on sharp corners at higher speeds, so print profile tuning matters more than the marketing suggests.

For anyone weighing this against an Ender class printer, the takeaway is that the Genius offers a quieter, better assembled experience with fewer immediate upgrade requirements, at the cost of a higher entry price and a slightly less enormous community of mods. Watching a decorative assembly come together part by part gives a much better feel for what daily ownership actually looks like, including the small failures and how easily they are recovered.
